'The Biosphere Project' - a 52 hectare site dedicated to the preservation of the grey wolf and its associated ecosystem following its extinction in England during the reign of Henry VII (1485-1509). As a 21st century development in zoo habitat design and the concept of landscape immersion, it has a planting plan to simulate environments inhabited by wolves (montane, boreal forest, deciduous woodland etc) and provided natural hunting opportunities.
